ETHIOPIA: Go and make Disciples

Ethiopia is a majority Christian country and two thirds of its 84 million inhabitants profess Christianity. Muslims represent around one third. Ethiopian Christians belong above all to the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Catholics represent only around 1% of the population and although a small minority, the Catholic Church runs approximately 90% of the social programs. Ethiopia is the oldest Christian country in Africa and yet there are still regions in the country where this faith is unknown. The production recounts the experiences of three priests: Fr. Elvis from Peru, Fr. John from Italy and Fr. Isaiah from Kenya. Theirs is a modern day missionary work of primary evangelisation among the Gumuz people: a tribal hunting and gathering group, traditionally animist, living in the northern and western parts of the country.
