The Pan-African Catholic Theology and Pastoral Care Network (PACTPAN), founded on 10 December 2019, is an inclusive and collaborative network active in over 30 countries. As an “African people’s square,” it brings together academics, church leaders, pastoral workers and social justice activists. PACTPAN promotes best pastoral practices to bring “life in abundance” to African communities through interdisciplinary research, digital and audiovisual content, e-learning and productions addressing human rights, human trafficking, youth leadership, ecology, pastoral theology, and the social and religious realities of Africa.
