The Funeral Mass of Pope Francis will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Square on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

GMT: 07:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (including lineup) Rome time: 09:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (including lineup)

The ceremony will be presided over by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals.

At the end of the ceremony, the coffin will be taken to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore for burial.
