This project is blessed and supported by the Archbishop Paolo Pezzi, Chair of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference in Russia.

The starting point of “The Year of Faith” celebration, announced by the Pope Benedict XVI, is the 50th anniversary of II Vatican Council.
In this documentary participation of Catholic and Orthodox hierarchs and priests, as well as religious and public leaders of different periods of Russian reality is expected.

The opportunity of using the archives of the Second Vatican Council is unique. This was the preliminary arrangement between Blagovest Media and CTV, and more precisely, with Fr. Federico Lombardi, with whom Blagovest Media is connected with long partnership.

The film is targeted both for wide audience and for using as a material for catechesis in parochial studies.
