Simon, a poor shoemaker, discovers a young man named Michael alone by the side of the road. He brings the youth home for food and shelter. Michael, although quiet and withdrawn, becomes Simon’s invaluable assistant and helps strengthen Simon’s faith and shows him God’s faithfulness. When it comes time for Michael to leave, he shares with Simon the lessons he has learned through his experience and reveals that he is, in fact, an angel. "
