On 12 October 2006, the young British-Italian Carlo Acutis died of fulminant leukaemia. He was only 15 years old. Since then, the exemplary life of this teenager, a saxophone enthusiast who was also attracted by video games and computers, has spread with unstoppable force among young people, to the point that his name is still a trending topic on Google and social networks.
Knowing that he was going to die, Carlo Acutis offered all his sufferings for the salvation of many. And not only was his intercession decisive in the healing of the Brazilian boy Matheus from a fatal congenital malformation of the pancreas, whose miracle led Pope Francis to beatify him on 10 October 2020, but his intercessory power is still more active today than ever. It is not in vain that hundreds of graces and blessings have already been obtained through his mediation.

Heaven Can't Wait offers a dozen powerful testimonies of young and not-so-young people who have turned their lives around through the intercession of Carlo Acutis. The film also retraces the biographical milestones of Acutis himself, partly recreated through fictional scenes involving an actor who bears an uncanny physical resemblance to Carlo.
