Controlled by commercial interests, the Mass Media propagate values that are profitable and expedient. Moral and ethical considerations have little commercial value! In fact the aim is to reduce the very need to make personal choices. The Mass Media persuade us to do the ""done"" thing, to be ""in"", to ""belong"", ... to join the ""mainstream"" in the march to glamour and wealth, equated with well-being and happiness. CHOICES is a series of video programmes that raise issues related to human values. A discussion should follow these open-ended programmes for adolescents, in schools, colleges, youth groups, etc.... "
