Lae (Agenzia Fides) – “The role of communications in everyday life is fundamental. Not only does it help share information and knowledge, but it also contributes to developing relationships between people, and to forming a sense of community. For this reason the Catholic Church is present in the sphere of communications”.
In Papua New Guinea many people and many young people use social media and other modern technologies to communicate. The Church have set himselves in this direction, to be present and bring an evangelical word in these areas. On this occasion, the new Catholic radio station of the diocese was launched: “Radio 103.7” whose motto is “The voice that nourishes faith”.
