"This documentary describes experiences of a young girl who, responding to an appeal in the media, leaves for Siberia to teach the Polish language to families of exiles from Poland. Her boyfriend follows with a video camera the successive events, perplexities and moments of happiness. She makes her first friends, the winter comes, people start striking, and the girl finds her place... "
