Description

The 7th of April 1994, Cyprien and Daphrose Rugamba were killed, together with 6 of their children at their home in Kigali after a night of Eucharistic adoration. A genocidal madness began in Rwanda. Cyprien and Daphrose were against of any ethnic division and decided to stay in Rwanda giving testimony of the faith they professed. The film tells the miraculous life of this couple from the first difficult years of marriage until they became two overflowing with love. They were founding members of the Emmanuel Community in Rwanda. Their beatification has begun in September 2015. A co-production KTO/SAJE 2016 - made by François Lespès
