CredoFunding is a crowdfunding platform that specializes in supporting projects within the Christian community, including Catholic film productions and other cultural projects. Through crowdfunding, it enables Christian entrepreneurs and religious organizations to secure the necessary funds to realize their projects, ensuring that the optimal conditions for project success are met.

Role as a Source of Financing for Catholic Productions:

1. Documentaries and Films:
   • “Faith and Freedom”: This documentary focuses on Christian minority communities in Pakistan, Syria, and Iran, following the experiences of Father Stefano Cascio. CredoFunding assisted in financing the post-production of the documentary, which was created in collaboration with RAI Cinema​ (CREDOFUNDING)​.
   • Dorothy Day: This project aims to produce a 30-minute documentary on the life and legacy of Dorothy Day, designed to raise awareness about her spirituality and service. The crowdfunding campaign on CredoFunding seeks to finance this production, which will be broadcasted by Net for God TV​ (CREDOFUNDING)​.
2. Focus on Meaningful Projects: CredoFunding prioritizes projects that have significant cultural and religious impact, fostering financial solidarity within the Christian community. The supported projects often include documentaries, films, and other productions that reflect Christian values and promote the common good.
3. Funding Mechanism: CredoFunding employs two crowdfunding platforms: donations and loans. This allows investors and donors to choose between directly supporting a project through contributions or investing in it with a modest financial return, always aiming to support causes they consider meaningful from a faith perspective​ (CREDOFUNDING)​.
4. Examples of Successful Campaigns:
   • For “Faith and Freedom,” the platform managed to raise €5,945 of the €10,000 needed, highlighting the community support through small contributions that add up to achieve larger goals​ (CREDOFUNDING)​.
