Mirabile Dictu Catholic Film Festival Prizes Awarded In Rome

During a gala dinner at Ruspoli Palace in Rome, Mirabile Dictu prizes were awarded to the best Catholic films this year. Among them is this year’s Rome Reports documentary, “Benedict XVI, in honor of the truth.”
The winner of the best short film was Peruvian Cristian Garcia, for “Conversación.”

Slovakian Bernadeta Tókarova was awarded for her documentary “The Black Madonna” about the Our Lady of Loreto.

The film “Pane del Cielo,” or “Bread from Heaven” by Giovanni Bedeschi won the award for best director and best film.

The Rome Reports documentary, “Benedict XVI, in honor of the truth,” won the special prize from the Capax Dei Foundation.
