Advances in the realization of the sixth documentary of the series “Life for the Amazon”, which narrates the legacy of men and women – lay and religious – who gave their lives in defense of this territory and its peoples.
The objective of the documentary will go beyond dealing with the history of Noza, since it will also focus on rescuing the symbolic value of this character, that is, the important role that Bolivian Amazon women played in the libertarian process of the indigenous peoples.
The purpose of “Life for the Amazon” is to highlight the challenges faced by this territory – constantly threatened by violations of environmental rights and of its peoples – as well as to mobilize for change from the testimonial, based on a creative and innovative narrative. Likewise, the initiative seeks to make the characters alluded to in the series known to the new generations and to reflect the face and the Amazonian spirit of the Church.
