The documentary “Enrique Alvear, the Bishop of the Poor” was premiered.

On July 17, the documentary “Enrique Alvear, the Bishop of the Poor” premiered in Santiago, Chile. It highlights the life and thought of Monsignor Enrique Alvear Urrutia, an important Chilean bishop in the process of beatification.  
The hour-long documentary briefly describes the life of Bishop Alvear before giving his yes to the Lord, some anecdotes that tell of his personality, his remarkable work for the most needy, his defense of people whose human rights were violated during the military dictatorship, and the last months before he died of cancer.
